My first attempt at the moon. I love the moon. I wish I had a bigger lens.

The whale I recently took a photo of was butchered last Saturday to preserve its skeleton. You can find out more about the project here. I recorded a time lapse of the event.

On Monday last a male Fin Whale was washed up near Raghly in Sligo. This young whale is not fully grown and measures about 10 meters or more. If you live nearby you should get down for a look before it is removed, it really is an amazing creature to see up close.

Fin Whales are the second largest whales on earth. You can follow news about it on the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group website. Today the whale was positioned here on this map but the tide has been shifting it about for the past few days so it might move.

I ate a pear from this tree and it tasted just right. I sometimes wish I owned a pear tree.

The Front music video that I worked on with Conor Walsh has been selected for the BBC Music Video Festival. Selected videos will be shown on one of 20 big screens throughout the UK and Ireland.

Our video will be shown with 4 others at the Big Screen Belfast between September 19th and October 1st, 2011. The screen is located on the west lawn alongside Belfast City Hall. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone on the festival team for selecting us.

I used to have a Hotmail account. Most people did right? Then for whatever reason about 6 years ago I didn’t log in for some arbitrary amount of time and they deleted the account along with all of the emails. I had so much important email correspondence from friends dating back years there. Even now, 6 years later I get really angry every time I think
about it.

I think some day Microsoft (Hotmail owners) will be charged with some kind of crime against humanity for deleting all of this content.

It sucks.
